Netroots Nation is committed to ensuring that women voices and women’s issues are well-represented in our agenda each year. Our conference includes content on issues ranging from contraceptive access to workplace discrimination to economic equality, plus tons of practical training sessions for activists of all experience levels.
Whether you’re a student organizer or the person running your organization, the training sessions at Netroots Nation will teach you how be to more effective in all facets of your work.
Each year, we have 40+ hands-on training sessions covering the critical skills that every organizer needs to know, from growing your email list to measuring ROI to becoming a media star. Training tracks include both beginner and advanced online organizing, communications and more. And these sessions are led by experienced professionals from dozens of the most well-known organizations and publications in the progressive movement.
Each year, Netroots Nation works with various groups to host pre-conference strategy sessions on select issues. These sessions include collaborative workshops, case studies and group discussions, as well as small group times for organizational leaders and bloggers/online activists to network. We believe this format allows ample time for discussing how better alliances can be formed and how activists can improve on both messaging and effectiveness. More information on pre-conference sessions at Netroots Nation will be announced in 2017.
Netroots Nation 2017 is August 10-13 in Atlanta. Click here to learn more about event details and programming.
